Tribute

In 2005, my fathers life was tragically ended at the age of 30 from sepsis. I was only 8 years old at the time when he passed away and, I remember like it was yesterday. He was being treated for an infection that came from a minor cut on his arm. (Sepsis and Bacterial Infections)  Doctors at the time were too late to diagnose him.

This year marks 17 years that he has been gone, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him. I have carried this weight on my shoulders for a very long time. I was never able to say goodbye or, I love you for one last time. I want people to know his story so, we can learn from the mistakes of the past. I don’t blame anyone for his death. I just want his life to live on as a reminder to us all how precious life truly is, and why we shouldn’t waste it.
