This story is about how sepsis changed our life forever. Our baby boy developed flu like symptoms on November 15th 2015. We took him to urgent care twice and he was sent home stating flu and to keep him hydrated and watch for fever. Jaimeson was brought back to Emergency Room on November 17th where he was admitted and declined quickly, resulting in cardiac arrest and declared brain dead.

The cause of sepsis was from pneumonia and the death certificate read viral sepsis and DIC with contributing factors of bronchopumonary dysphasia.
