Year 1991. I fell ill in January and started to have body shakes and felt terrible. Over the next thee months I saw my doctor several times. Said I had the flu and treated it accordingly. Shakes got worse. In March, I passed a huge blood clot. Went to the doctor and they ordered an ultrasound on my kidneys. Discovered both kidneys were packed with stones. (Sepsis and Kidney Stones)
During the procedure, I started shaking uncontrollably and couldn’t quit. Rushed me OR to insert tubes so I could pass the stones. However, while performing the procedure, I died 2 times. About 6 minutes each time. While I was in recovery, I died again. This time for 12 minutes. That’s when they discovered I had a severe case of sepsis with only 24 hours left to live. The doctors pulled out every stop in the book and saved my life. However, I was told that my sepsis was so deep seated, that I could develop it again.
