My mother went into the hospital on January 4, 2022, and sadly passed away on January 22, 2022. I want her story to help others. The doctors were solely focused on her back pain being pancreatitis. However, there was a reason she was having pancreatitis being that she was septic. The doctors were not aware of this and it sadly affected her outcome. She was ventilated on January 13, 2022 and passed away on the 22nd. Please make sure to get regular blood checks of your loved ones! She was only 49 years old and could have had so much more time if only we had known.
