Sarah Jones

I am a three-year septic shock survivor caused from pneumonia. (Sepsis and Pneumonia) I spent 3 days of my hospital stay sedated and on a ventilator, and had my 24th birthday in the ICU. I was able to pull through with words of encouragement, prayers, and support from everyone involved. My story is a big part of me- I don’t think I could ever thank the doctors and nurses enough for allowing me the privilege of life. I haven’t let what happened stop me from an active lifestyle! I hope other survivors can read my story, and find confidence to keep living their own lives.
