Survivor

After being diagnosed for a UTI, the next day I woke up with severe back pain and high fever. (Sepsis and Urinary Tract Infections) After hours of dealing with the pain, I decide to go to the ER. While waiting to be seen my symptoms got worse within minutes. I began vomiting and started having trouble breathing.

The ER doctor came in right away after hearing me in so much pain that he started doing every test on me. He diagnosed it as kidney infection with sepsis and admitted me. The next day my lung x-ray results indicated partial collapse in pockets of my lungs. After 4 days in the hospital and tons of test and medications I was released. Always trust your gut! If you don’t feel right, go to the ER. It saved my life!
