I too got sepsis due to pancreatitis. My son found me incoherent on my bedroom floor yelling for my Dad who passed away 5 yrs ago. He called ambulance. I was put in ICU immediately. 20 more minutes I would have been dead. Kidneys were gone, other organs were following. That was week before Christmas.

Go to my endocrinologist for hospital follow up. Pulse was so low couldn’t get my blood pressure. AC1 was 17. Back to ICU at a different hospital. For another week. I don’t remember the holidays at all. So scary as I am a widow with a son I still have to raise. I see life thru new eyes! Grateful to the Lord for every day he lets me wake up!
