“Heroic Grandmother”

This time last year, my mother who suffered end stage renal failure for 27 years (she lived without have either kidney) went in for a routine procedure to clear her shunt…and never recovered. The doctors spent five days trying to figure out why she all of sudden stopped breathing once sent to the recovery room.

She was placed on a ventilator and five days later the doctors reported that there was a slim to none chance that she would ever awake. October 10, 2015, my sister and i decided to end her suffering and take her off the ventilator. She was a mean fiesty firecracker who weighed all but a whole 75 pounds but impacted so many people where ever she went. She left behind three beautiful grandbabies, Azariah Kimbrough (age 11) Ayden Foster (age 5) and Alena Rodriguez (age 1). Gone but never forgotten and truly missed.
