Tribute to Our Dad
Six years ago, we lost our beloved father – Lev Fridman- to sepsis. He had been battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a relentless disease that eventually spread to his nervous system, leaving him paralysed. (Sepsis and Cancer) While losing him was painful, we find some solace in knowing that sepsis ended his severe suffering and brought him peace.

Our dad was an amazing person—a true “DAD” and “GRANDAD.” He loved our mom deeply for over 40 years. Despite his own busy schedule, he always found time to care for us in small but meaningful ways. He would visit our homes while we were at work, bringing organic fruits and vegetables “for the kids,” cooking us dinner, and leaving before we returned—ever humble, never seeking recognition. He took on countless errands for our mom, always on a tight schedule, yet somehow managing it all.

He was incredibly athletic. He would walk miles instead of driving, simply to avoid the chance of his car being scratched in a parking lot.
We miss him deeply every day. We continue to keep his memory alive, sharing stories about him with our mom and our kids.
We honor his life by sharing his story in the hope of raising awareness about sepsis and its impact. Rest in peace, Dad. You will always be loved and remembered.
