Jaroslav Kucik

Survivor

Hello everyone. My name is Jaroslav Kucik. I live in Slovakia, Europe. Exactly a year ago, 9.9 2014, I was transported to the emergency room. I vomited and had a huge back pain. They tested me and my CRP (C reactive protein) test was 390. The examination showed that had appendicitis that developed in to sepsis. (Sepsis and Appendicitis)

My organs were attacked. I was admitted to a hospital with a weight of 260 lb. I was active bodybuilder. Three days after surgery, my weight was 229. After the operation my CRP went higher, to 420. Four days after surgery, my CRP declined.

jaro2My doctor said that I am big and strong, and the effect of antibiotics was very good. My CRP was just 100. After 7 days I went home and my CRP was 30. Another five days later, my CRP was 1.

When I was in the hospital, I coulnd’t eat or drink. When I came home I couldn’t gain weight. I was often very cold and I cried a lot for no reason. I fought every day. My family has been with me and helped me greatly.

I could not walk well for over 10 months. I had a very strong pain in the calves of my legs. My nerves and muscles in the calf were still affected. I see my therapist and I’m getting massages. My calves soon got better, but are still small and weak muscles. I changed my diet. I only eat Paleo diet. I am again today strong and healthy. I want to thank the doctors, nurses and my family from me so much help. I do a lot of sports and I eat a healthy diet.jaro3
