Tribute

My mum had repeated UTIs over the year and had antibiotics a few times. (Sepsis and Urinary Tract Infections) On 23/9/21 she had a fall in the night going to the bathroom. We don’t know how long she was on the floor but was found early hours by family member.

She was very confused but drowsy. 999 was called. She was blue light to hospital. On the 25/9/21 we was told she was end of life care and given midazolam. My mum passed away that afternoon of UTI sepsis, something of what can easily be treated if caught early but if not its deadly. I lost a part of me that day my mum died. I could understand it more if she had heart or stroke but sepsis. I just can’t.
