Hilda Abaka

Survivor

After the birth of my 2nd child I constantly felt ill and had a high temperature but after a test, the doctor said I had infection of the blood and it was nothing to bother about. I left the hospital with medications. At this point, the infection was at an 11,000 count. Two weeks later I felt something wasn’t right but with pain on my leg, so I went to the hospital myself. The doctor was surprised as infection was now 25,000 count, and trying to find out why. A pregnancy had gone bad in the womb and didn’t flush out and I had carried for 3 months, not knowing.

I flushed out and received treatment, but since 2014 I have not been able to conceive a child again, but I am alive and have 2 girls. (Sepsis and Pregnancy & Childbirth)
