Gale Hubbard

My Mom, Gale Hubbard had stage 4 cancer of the duodenum. (Sepsis and Cancer) She was on two kinds of chemotherapy. She had the Whipple procedure at Stanford on October 5, 2017. She had a UTI in the hospital and was on antibiotics. (Sepsis and Urinary Tract Infections) She was discharged October 12. On October 13 she was in extreme pain & agreed for 911 to be called. By the time they got her to the hospital, she had very low blood pressure. They tried to life flight her back to Stanford twice. Both times her organs shut down. Her feet were mottled and her kidneys shut down. My Mom died of septic shock on October 15.
