Emily Derenberger

Survivor

My name is Emily, I am 24 years old. I was first diagnosed with sepsis 2 years ago. The 2nd time was in January of 2018 and I was just released from the hospital in July for sepsis again. Yes, I’ve had it 3 times. Doctors can’t find out what’s wrong with me. Other than my white blood cell count is constantly high. I have no answer, all I have is doctors calling me crazy. I am currently going to school full-time and working part-time. I have hope of finding help with my illness because it is just getting progressively worse. I was very glad to find this site to see there are other survivors like me. God Bless
