Survivor

Two years ago, a very large kidney stone almost took me. (Sepsis and Kidney Stones) I was in another province visiting. My vitals were all over the place for many days, as I was in the hospital. Tubes in my neck, and antibiotics, and lots of antibiotics, of different sorts.

Once stabilized, a month later, the stint was removed, and stone blasted. Now two years later, I have gone though the same event with two large stones. The only difference would be my vitals were not as tortured it seems. Recovery is months. I know my energy is not the same. Rest is important. I know I’m blessed to be here. A lot of trauma, over time. But at 65, I am still here. It felt like life was being sucked out of me. Someone caring, is what kept me here ❤️ I hope I can continue on for a long time. But it’s in the back of my mind….. It has been recommended by a urologist to visit a gastroenterologist. We will see how that goes. Health care is backed up everywhere. Love to all you survivors. So sorry for the loss, that others have endured; and still feel….Anne
