Alex Sadorf Colvin

Vice President, Marketing and Communications

Alex Sadorf Colvin is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Sepsis Alliance. In this role, she leads strategy and execution for external and internal communications, outreach campaigns, events, and stewardship initiatives, helping amplify awareness of sepsis and drive community engagement.

Alex earned her B.A. in Communication from the University of California, Davis, where she spent her senior year serving as Fundraising Chair for the women’s rugby team. After graduating, she moved to San Diego to lead events for military housing communities, then worked as an independent contractor specializing in marketing and event planning.

She joined Sepsis Alliance in 2017 as Events Coordinator, and over the years has expanded her responsibilities across events, operations, stewardship, and marketing. Her passion lies in translating critical information into clear, compelling messages that educate, engage, and motivate, helping the public understand sepsis and its risks, and empowering communities to act.

Now based in the Bay Area, Alex spends most of her time chasing her young son and dog around.
