On January 22, 2025 I woke up with 102° temp. Took ibuprofen went back to bed. January 23 woke up again at night 102° took ibuprofen didn’t think too much of it. January 24 103° temp and my lower left side of my back was in a lot of pain. January 25, could barely walk 103°, call the ambulance to go to the hospital.

Arrived 4a.m. took test had to wait for the lab for blood results. I left, told the doctor if it gets worse I’ll come back. At 1a.m. the 26 of Jan, hospital called told me to get to the ER ASAP, sepsis with MRSA. I couldn’t stand on my own nor walk on my own. Doctor had a room waiting hooked me up to antibiotics. (Sepsis and MRSA)

I slept 7 days straight. The hospital me shipped to another hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where they switched my antibiotics to 2 antibiotics that were a 5th generation very aggressive medicine. Had MRI, sedated me because my lower back was so bad with pain. Finding: in my lungs, brain, liver, kidneys, L4 L5 S1 abscesses, left upper thigh abscess . My mom seen the X-ray of my chest, she said looked like I was shot by a shot gun little black dots all over both lungs.

17 days in the hospital, couldn’t walk. When I got home I had a PICC line in my arm. Home health nurse came to the house, physical therapy came to the house. 80 days total. January 25 to April 16th, from the day I got to the hospital till the nurse took my PICC line out, 66 days with it in my arm. I still am not the same. I walk with a little limp and I can’t think clearly or remember too much. But I lived
