Rosemary Mitchell Grant

Rosemary Mitchell Grant, BSN, RN, CPHQ, CPPS is a Director of Clinical Excellence with a sepsis and readmission management focus at the Washington State Hospital Association. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Nursing from the University of Washington. Rosemary most recently was the Sepsis Coordinator at Harborview Medical Center. In this role, Rosemary helped to design and implement quality improvement efforts to promote early identification and treatment of sepsis across the care continuum. Rosemary was also the co-chair of the Pacific Northwest Sepsis Conference for 7 years.  She now serves on the planning committee for the Sepsis Forum.

Prior to focusing her work on sepsis, Rosemary worked at the Harborview Injury Prevention Research Center (HIPRC) where she helped to develop a care pathway for hospitalized children with severe traumatic brain injuries.  Before joining Harborview, Rosemary spent 12 years working on research and quality improvement projects in the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington Medical Center and the Surgical Outcomes Research Center.
