Dan Hitch

Survivor

August 07,2016 I checked in to hospital for a TURP pocedure.
The procedure was performed and I spent the night in hospital out patient room. The doctor came in next morning checked me over had my catheter removed and discharged me. (Sepsis and Invasive Devices) My wife was on way to pick me up.

I went to urinate and felt dizzy. The next thing I knew I was laying across bed and nurse came in and called hospitalist to the room. He took my BP and it was down to almost nothing. He called a Code Blue and a pulmonary doctor came and ordered for me to be rushed to ICU, where he cut by my clavical and the fatty part of my right palm and started to pump me full of antibiotics. I had an MRI before he did this. A lot of this is just fuzzy in my mind.

I owe my life to these two hospitalists and pray for them and the ICU nurses.
I’m 75 years old and sill having UTI which make me very worried.
