Lily joined the Sepsis Alliance team in 2020, bringing with her five years’ experience in the nonprofit sector, an academic background in neurology, and a desire to contribute to the betterment of human health.
A San Diego native, Lily graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications; following that, she studied Speech-Language Pathology at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. from 2011 until 2013. In 2014, she moved to New York and accepted a job at an intercultural education organization, where she stayed for four years, working her way up from scholarships administration to fundraising. In 2018, Lily returned to the West Coast, spending a year in Los Angeles working for the University of Southern California before settling down in San Diego.
Lily is excited to be back in her hometown and enjoys reconnecting with old friends and spending time with family. A voracious reader and a proud puppy parent, Lily’s favorite activities include curling up with a good book and going for long walks with her dog Gonzo.
