Carrie graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in Biology in 2017. She returned to her alma mater in 2020, where she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Health. From a very tender age, she knew she was destined to be in the field of healthcare.
Carrie believes that it should be a born-given right that healthcare should be at least three things: accessible, affordable, and adequate. Hence, her dedication to pursuing a career which will allow her to be a contributing factor in improving the health and overall quality of life for all.
Carrie joined the Sepsis Alliance team in May 2021 and is excited to be a part of the mission, which will bring forth sepsis awareness and knowledge to underserved and minority populations.
