People over 65 years old, particularly those who have health issues, are more susceptible to sepsis than any other group. While they only make up about 12% of the American population, they make up 65% of sepsis cases in the hospitals. This webinar will discuss the pre-acute phase from symptom onset to diagnosis and associated patient and caregiver experiences with symptom appraisal, self-management, barriers, and interpersonal interactions.
