Frequently Asked Questions

What is the current platform?
We currently operate on WordPress. We are open to other platforms for the redesign.

What is the target launch date?
We hope to launch by end of year 2026, but we are open to extending that into Q1 of 2027 if needed.

What platforms does the site need to integrate with?
We currently use Salesforce, Mailchimp, Funraise, Breezy, SpotMe, and UserWay. We have other integrations on the site but are open to finding other solutions based on recommendations.

Can agencies outside the United States apply?
Due to our current financial and payment processing requirements, we are only accepting proposals from U.S.-based vendors for this RFP.

Will this work include the subdomains (SepsisInstitute.org)?
No, this work is solely for Sepsis.org.

Will Sepsis Alliance or the agency be responsible for copywriting/editing/medical review of content?
Sepsis Alliance will be responsible for these elements, though we ask for guidance in copywriting/editing from the agency.

Are there existing brand guidelines that will need to be followed?
Yes.

How many pages and media items are currently on the site?
There are currently 258 published pages and 8,159 media items. Additionally, there are 2,307 published Faces of Sepsis™ stories. Not all of the pages and media items will be necessary on the redesigned site, as there are multiple duplicates and outdated pages.

Is WCAG 2.1 AA sufficient, or do you need AAA?
AA is sufficient. We have no HIPAA concerns.

How many proposals do you expect to receive?
As of August 14, we have received 70 proposals.
