Mildred E. Scott

My mother Mildred E. Scott died from Sepsis on March 21, 1997. She was 58 years old. She was a insulin dependant diabetic and got the infection from diabetic related symptoms. (Sepsis and Diabetes)

There is not a day that goes by that I don’t miss my mom and when I saw Dr. Flatley’s story I was in tears. My mom caught sepsis prior to her death and it was cured by antibiotics. Unfortunately, her second bout shut everything down and she was in a coma when she passed.

It’s a silent killer and can be prevented but most people are just unaware. Thank you for allowing me to share my story.
