Last Jan 4,2014, I started getting sick that morning. My son had an upper GI that day and I brought him to his appointment. I felt like I was starting getting weak.

After my son’s appointment, I went straight home I eat lunch. After that. I felt like my body was getting sore and couldn’t move anymore. I asked the father of my kids to pick up the kids early because I couldn’t pick them up, I had no strength. I took some Aleve to relieve my pain in my whole body. I told my kids I couldn’t move anymore, to let me rest. Maybe when I rested, I would feel better, but it got worse.

I asked my 7-year-old daughter to call 911 because I was really sick. The paramedics came after 15 minutes and they brought me right away to the hospital. They did my vital signs and labs right away. The nurse told me that have to wait for the results and talk to the doctor. They got the lab test results and rushed me to the back to give me antibiotics right away.

I was so weak and they didn’t tell me the reason why. I was like, every time my antibiotics finished they gave me another one another again. The 3rd antibiotics that they gave me was different. I went in to anaphylactic shock. They changed my antibiotics again and I recovered. I almost passed out during anaphylactic shock.

I was telling the nurse give me Epipen. They just give me benadryl. I told them benadryl was not going to work. I told that them I couldn’t breath, that’s the time they gave me my Epipen. I have severe allergy to medicine. They brought me upstairs to a room so someone could monitor me. I was really weak and still my labs ere elevated. They told me when I was in the ER, I had a UTI only, but when I asked the nurse in the room, they said I had sepsis. (Sepsis and Urinary Tract Infections) I was there for 9 days. I am still weak and recovering. I was discharged last Friday.
