My mother visited doctor 3 times in a week. Severe back pain not passing urine. None of the doctors sent her to hospital. 3 doctors she had seen in 5 days because she was so poorly but none of them sent her to hospital. When they knew she was not passing urine.

We took her on the Sunday. She died on the Wednesday.

She was 79 when she died. Sepsis had severely set in. Not sure what strain it was that triggered the sepsis. Feel very angry.

Now sepsis is labelled as a deadly killer and posts are everywhere. Bit too late for my mum but hope it saves other lives.
