Survivor

October 2nd 2015, I was rushed by ambulance to an ER in Michigan and my friend was told that I may not make it there alive. My blood pressure was so low that fluids were being forced into me as quickly as possible. I do not remember any of this, and not much for at least two weeks before this event. I was told 8 days later when they were trying to get me out of bed. I had been in ICU and in a coma since I had been there. They told me I had necrotizing fasciitis and I was septic. (Sepsis and Necrotizing Fasciitis) I had surgery and was in really bad shape and told I was lucky to be alive.

I had to be transported to Henry Ford Hospital and stayed there for a month, then transferred to a rehab and healing hospital in Pontiac Michigan. I was there for another month. I was in Michigan on a vacation. I now wanted to go home not but to another rehab hospital in Florida. I was admitted to Avante in Ocala Florida. I had to stay there until February 17th 2016. Today August 27th 2016 and I still have a wound that is not healed in almost a year now. I hate this all of this. I had to have an ostomy. it can be reversed, but not until my wound heals.
