About 20 years ago while at the cottage, I knew I was sick. Went to the ER in Midland and doctor gave me Gravol.  I decided to drive home and could not keep awake. When we arrived home about 10 pm, I thought if I took a shower I would feel better. It was at that time, I noticed two parallel lines on my right index finger and because I am “a wanna be doctor,” I knew it was blood poisoning and immediately went to the ER in Grimsby. That was the beginning of a 10-day stay in hospital with large dosage of antibiotics. My advice is to listen to what your body is telling you and advocate for yourself!
