Barbara Kennelly
I lost my Mom, Barbara Kennelly, to sepsis and pneumonia on June 1, 2013. (Sepsis and Pneumonia) She had been hospitalized for the third time with pneumonia a couple of weeks earlier, right after Mother’s Day. Her health had been declining for years and she was wheelchair bound by then.
Despite a week of treatment, her condition grew worse. She went into respiratory failure, was revived, and admitted to ICU. Within a couple of day, sepsis had set in and we were forced to say our goodbyes.
Although I am glad that she no longer suffers, I will miss her until the day I see her again.
