Azaree “Hunbun” Bradley

Survivor

I’m Azaree Bradley, aka lil miss hunbun. I went in a septic shock on January 21, 2018 after my mom took me to numerous  doctor visits and to the hospital. I was breathing off one lung when my parents were told I had to be placed on a ventilator. Two and a half weeks, my family worried and worried if I was going to make it out. Only being a baby, I went through a lot at 15 months old.

I got better through out the weeks and coming off all machines. On February 20, my mom was told we would be air lifted to Cincinnati, Ohio to the Shriners for Children, where they possibly would have to amputate. (Sepsis and Amputations) Arriving in Ohio with no family, just me and my mom was scary! February 22, 2018, was a life changer for my whole family when doctors came out and broke the news I would have to get ALL four my limbs amputated….February 23, I was a quadruple amputee. At the end of that journey, I’m still alive and learning things over again but I’m my own way. I’m a survivor of sepsis.
