Medical research plays a critical role in improving healthcare, advancing treatments, and helping people live healthier lives. This virtual presentation provides an accessible introduction to how health research works, why it matters, and how individuals can confidently engage with research information and opportunities.

Participants will learn the basics of clinical trials and research studies and explore what it means to participate in research. In addition, attendees will gain practical tools for interpreting medical studies and health news. Designed for patients, caregivers, and community members, this presentation aims to build confidence in navigating health research and making informed healthcare decisions.
