  • « Webinar: 2026 Surviving Sepsis Campaign Guidelines for Children: Translating New Evidence into Clinical Practice
  • Sponsored Webinar: Small Patients, Big Risks: Neonatal and Pediatric Sepsis »

Date: Thursday, October 22

Time: 1 PM ET/10 AM PT

Description:

Awareness of the term “sepsis” among U.S. adults has reached an all-time high, with 78% of Americans reporting that they are familiar with the term, according to the 2026 Sepsis Alliance Awareness Survey. But how much has sepsis awareness changed over the years and what do the numbers tell us about where we need to go next?

In this presentation, Sepsis Alliance takes a closer look at findings from the 2026 Sepsis Awareness Survey and the story they tell across the years of research. Explore what has changed, where meaningful progress has been made, and which gaps in awareness and understanding remain.

Go behind the numbers to learn how Sepsis Alliance develops and selects survey questions, how findings are used to inform awareness and education efforts, and how year-over-year data helps shape future priorities. However you’ve been affected by sepsis, this presentation offers an inside look at what we’re learning and how those insights can help guide what comes next.

Presenter:

Jill Gress, Vice President, Radius Global Market Research (Retired) and Secretary, Sepsis Alliance Board of Directors
