Sepsis Alliance Connect: From Loss to Action: Sepsis Awareness in Every Community
September 11 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Date: Friday, September 11
Time: 4 PM ET/1 PM PT
Description:
Join Sepsis Alliance Connect for a free, virtual panel during Sepsis Awareness Month featuring three individuals who have experienced the devastating loss of a loved one to sepsis and transformed that loss into a commitment to education and action. Each panelist has found a unique way to raise sepsis awareness in their community: through social media outreach, engagement with senior centers, and education for nurses informed by firsthand experience as a former nurse.
Together, the panelists will share their personal stories, what inspired them to speak out, and practical approaches for reaching the people and communities who need sepsis information most. Whether you are a sepsis survivor, family member, advocate, or want to help spread awareness, you’ll leave with ideas and inspiration for using your own network to make a difference. This program is an opportunity to turn remembrance into action and help more people recognize sepsis and seek timely care.
Panelists:
Gerald Bedard, Nancy Butters, and Lori Peter
