As we close out 2026, the 15th year of Sepsis Awareness Month, we turn our eyes to the future. The fight against sepsis isn’t over, but we now know more than ever before. We’ve seen how awareness saves lives, how survivors and caregivers drive change, and how education, advocacy, and innovation are shifting the course of this public health crisis.
December is about committing to what’s next: a future where sepsis is understood, prevented, detected early, and treated effectively. A future where no one dies or suffers needlessly because they didn’t know the signs. Together, we will keep pushing forward until sepsis is no longer a silent killer.
