Laura Messineo, RN, MHA
Laura Messineo is a dynamic nursing leader in the healthcare industry. Her innovative nursing leadership skills enable her to successfully align corporate strategic goals to operationalize clinical and financial targets. She has extensive clinical experience managing diverse groups of professionals within the critical care environment.
With over a decade of experience within the telemedicine industry, Laura has proven successes implementing telehealth solutions to drive performance and financial metrics. In addition, she has diverse management experience across the continuum of care designing, developing and implementing processes to meet organizational objectives.
Laura speaks nationally on a variety of topics and sits on various professional boards. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), and sits on various professional Advisory Boards.
One of her passions is to raise community awareness of sepsis. In 2014, she spearheaded the first Illinois Sepsis Challenge 5K raising over $27,000 for the Sepsis Alliance. She is a 2014 Sepsis Heroes recipient. In 2015, she worked with Illinois State Representatives to pass a resolution declaring Illinois Sepsis Day. She is actively championing the State of Illinois to pass sepsis regulations.
