T2 Biosystems Supports Sepsis Awareness and Sepsis Alliance with Limited-Time Donation Campaign

September 25, 2015

Throughout Sepsis Awareness Month, T2 Biosystems will donate $5 to Sepsis Alliance for every tweet that includes #SpeakSepsis and @T2Bio. Funds raised from this special campaign, timed to coincide with Sepsis Awareness Month, will directly support sepsis awareness programs.

San Diego, CA (September 25, 2015) Throughout the month of September, T2 Biosystems is recognizing Sepsis Awareness Month by supporting Sepsis Alliance as part of a limited-time donation campaign on Twitter.

To participate in the campaign, Twitter users simply need to post, share, or retweet any message that includes both the hashtag #SpeakSepsis, as well as T2 Biosystem’s official Twitter handle @T2Bio.

“We appreciate the support of T2 Biosystems to help us raise awareness of sepsis during Sepsis Awareness Month,” Thomas Heymann, Executive Director of Sepsis Alliance, said. “T2 has been a strong supporter of our work to raise awareness of sepsis as a medical emergency, so more survive. We are thankful for their involvement, and their outside-the-box creativity in raising funds for important awareness efforts.”

Supporters are encouraged to get creative with their use of their posts to include @T2Bio and the hashtag #SpeakSepsis. There are no restrictions on who can post; the campaign is open to all new and existing users on Twitter. However, time is very limited as the campaign officially ends Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
