Tribute

My mom had cancer and was taking a chemotherapy pill. (Sepsis and Cancer) On Friday Jan. 8, she was sick to her stomach and threw up several times. She took nausea medicine and went to bed. Saturday she was still sick but not throwing up any more. Saturday night she was confused and a little disoriented.

Sunday morning she was so sick couldn’t get out of bed had terrible diarrhea. I called ambulance took her to local hospital stayed in ER for hours, where they said she has pneumonia and low blood pressure. They admitted her to regular room not ICU.

Around 5 pm, she began making a horrible rattling around in her chest and she couldn’t speak. She was clearly scared and she knew something was wrong.

Just a few minutes later she died. They were able to get a pulse and rushed her to ICU. She died at 5:43 pm from sepsis due to pneumonia. Never heard of sepsis until the doctor said that was what killed my mom. I miss her so much. I am an only child and we were very close. (Sepsis and Pneumonia)
