Govindamml Kothanda Raman

Tribute

My mother Mrs Govindamml Kothanda Raman had previous health issues: uterine prolapse, acute left ventricle failure of heart, and type 2 diabetes, but she followed her doctor’s advice and maintained her diet, regular walking, medicines and vaccines too, as per our cardio specialist and general doctor. But last month, in Chennai, India, we faced heavy rainfall and flooded our home fully. We stayed on 1st floor of our building due to this she missed regular medicines & diet.

Afterward the flood receded, my mother was affected by diarrhea and high sugar, and was admitted in hospital to reduce sugar and heal from diarrhea. She started to heal but unfortunately deadly sepsis developed in her due to heavy sugar and untreated small wounds in her body, but we and the doctors not aware of sepsis. (Sepsis and Diabetes)

My mother was treated in ICU for low bp, one by one, within a half a day, her condition got worse. Her first cardiac arrest, after CPR and shock, she survived, but after she was not able to come to us. Then we learned about this sepsis. She was not going to came back.
